Gardening

OK, the garden wasnt exactly looking nasty, but the new fence was about to go up, so no point in starting anything until James has sorted the fence.  Here is the garden a few weeks ago.  My neighbour had cut all her 6 foot trees down, hence could see into everyone's garden - not my cup of tea, I like my privacy

So after the new super fence went up - the garden looked like this:

I placed roll log edging round the lawn, and reseeded where it was bald.  The pond still needs finishing off at the back, but that could be as late as the end of the summer, hence I couldnt wait any longer, filled the pond, added plants, then kids picked some wonderful fish yesterday - they are now swimming happily in their new home (the fish, not the kids!)

Also a treat for me, a wonderful metal lizard for the new fence - I love him.

  2. That new fence looks great. I too am a privacy liker. Love to chat, say hello, but when I'm hanging out the washing in my PJs I dont want the whole neighbourhood to see. Even CK PJs!!
Ponds looking good, will await its gradual transformation.
